If you or someone you love is experiencing a mental health crisis in Georgia, the Georgia Crisis & Access Line (GCAL) is available 24/7. GCAL provides immediate assistance, crisis intervention, and help connecting to local mental health, substance use, and developmental disability services.

GCAL is operated through the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), which offers statewide treatment and support services for individuals with:

• Mental health concerns

• Substance use and addictive diseases

• Intellectual and developmental disabilities

 

Trained professionals are available around the clock to offer support, dispatch mobile crisis teams when needed, and help guide individuals to appropriate care.
