MEET DR. DEBBIE HARNOIS

Deborah A. Harnois, PhD, LPC, NCC is a Licensed Professional Counselor and retired school counselor with over 18 years of experience supporting children and teens through a wide range of challenges. Throughout her career in education, Dr. Debbie—as she’s affectionately known by her students—provided compassionate care and practical support in areas such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, emotional regulation, self-esteem, college and career decision-making, and coping with change.

She worked closely with teachers, administrators, school staff, and parents to set both short- and long-term goals that helped students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally—at school and at home.

Now in private practice, Dr. Debbie feels blessed to continue working with children, teens, and their families, while also expanding her services to support women of all ages. Her counseling approach focuses on the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—helping clients grow in self-awareness, build self-esteem, and develop practical tools for lasting, positive change.

Dr. Debbie integrates Christian principles with evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strategic Trauma & Abuse Recovery System, and Play Therapy, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of the individual in a safe, supportive, and faith-informed environment.
